The first society golf day to be organised by Shukers Land Rover of Shrewsbury and Ludlow attracted an entry of 15 customers and produced some good scores.
The Stableford competition was staged at Sapey Golf Club, Worcestershire, and was won by Lee McKenna (handicap 14) with 40 points.
Runner-up was David Taylor (handicap 10) with 39 points and third was Steve Purvis (handicap 19) also on 39 points, but losing on the back nine holes.
Organiser Nick Apperley (pictured), who presented the prizes, said the day had been such a success that he is hoping to arrange another competition for customers of both Land Rover dealerships before the end of the year.
