Blists Hill Victorian Town, one of the ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums has beaten off stiff competition and secured a place on a short list of just 4 museums in the country's largest and most prestigious art competition.
The Art Fund Prize recognises and celebrates excellence and innovation in museums across the country who have delivered a major project in the last 12 months.
Blists Hill's £12 million redevelopment, with the introduction of the new Visitor Centre, a new parade of shops along Canal Street and a new Mine Train Experience has already attracted huge support.
