High demand for used 4x4s
A high demand for used 4x4’s and quality used cars in general is being experienced at one of Shropshire’s quality used car centres.
The focus at shukers.com which is located at Bayston Hill, Shrewsbury, has switched more to the currently popular 4x4 market.
At shukers.com sales manager Oliver Sharman said: “We are working very hard to meet the high demand from customers for quality used cars which combine an age of three to five years, have a full service history, low mileage and are in excellent condition.
“To help us achieve this we have seen an improvement in our ‘find a car’ service which involves us actively seeking vehicles for customers who want a specific make and model,” said Oliver.
“This service involves us doing all the checks required on a car, such as condition, service history, MOT status, mileage and HPI. By doing this we can help our customers find exactly the car they want without having to search the length and breadth of the country to do so.
“We are acting as a ‘search engine’ and people looking for a specific car are logging on to the website which is proving very popular – the number of hits has exceeded our expectations.”
In addition to improving what goes on inside the dealership, Oliver said external enhancements had included forecourt lighting.
“This has made a big difference in lighting up the forecourt in the evening and at night so that passing motorists can see our display of cars on their way home.
“This improvement has been well received by local residents as a great addition to the Bayston Hill community.”
He announced that some new promotions would be starting shortly and more information would be posted on the shukers.com website. Cars could be viewed on the website and more information sought from Shukerz The Cat.
