A top group of Land Rover trade customers have been treated to a day’s off-roading at one of the manufacturer’s premier attractions.
Peckforton Castle, Land Rover’s official experience site, was the venue for 17 members of the Trade Club set up last year by Shukers Land Rover of Shrewsbury.
Shukers selected the top six performers in the three leagues they created for the first quarter’s results for a Land Rover experience day accompanied by Neil Faulkner, parts manager, and Julian Capewell-Hughes, assistant parts manager.
The Trade Club members – who included two women – enjoyed a hilly, picturesque off-road course with instructors in vehicles which included Defender and luxury Range Rover.
“The views, across the Cheshire plain, were magnificent,” said Neil. “As we drove out of forests we could see Cheshire, Manchester and Liverpool very clearly in the distance.”
The Land Rover experience for the Trade Club, whose current total of 200 members are from Church Stretton in the south to Oswestry in the west and Whitchurch in the north, was followed by lunch at Peckforton Castle.
