Shukers sponsor under 11s rugby team

Shukers Land Rover of Ludlow has equipped 15 players in the under 11s at Bridgnorth with jackets they can wear off the pitch.
 
“The boys are absolutely thrilled,” said under 11’s manager Mick Richardson who is Shukers Workshop Foreman at the Ludlow dealership.
 
“The black waterproof jackets are fleece lined and carry both the logos of the rugby club and Shukers.”
 
Mick is in his second season as manager and his 10 year old son Corey is prop forward.  At the end of this season they will be playing in a tournament which if they win or become runners-up they will receive their medals on the pitch of Northampton Saints.  The winners will go on to play at Twickenham.
 
Although it is Shukers’ first rugby sponsorship, they nevertheless have a close association with the game.  Mr John Owen, Group Managing Director of their parent company Rubery Owen, gained 14 caps for England.
