Subaru comes to Shukers Ludlow

Shukers of Ludlow has announced that it has been awarded the service, parts and sales franchise for Subaru.
The new franchise will operate alongside the well established Land Rover marque which has made Shukers a household name in South Shropshire and North Herefordshire over many years.
Shukers has already started operating the service and parts outlets of the franchise and plans have now come to fruition for sales to follow during the first quarter of 2011.
Planning permission has been given for a five car showroom on land fronting Lingen Road, Ludlow, which is adjacent to the Land Rover dealership.
Building work will start shortly and Shukers Subaru is confident that sales of the six vehicle range will be able to start in the first quarter of next year.
Subaru is described by Shukers as a ‘good partner’ whose car derived 4-wheel drive range will complement Shukers Land Rover’s specialist knowledge of the 4-wheel drive market.
The long established Ludlow dealership is ‘excited’ about the expansion that Subaru will bring as well as the opportunity to offer a wider choice of 4x4 vehicle to its existing – and prospective – client base.
At present, Subaru owners in the Ludlow area have to travel to Shrewsbury, Worcester, Abergavenny, Stourbridge or Newtown for their servicing and parts.
