Dan putts out while Nick holds the flag for a Shukers Subaru

A sponsored Subaru Forester has arrived just at the right time for Ludlow Golf Club professional Dan Francis.

He is about to embark on a series of pro-am events and is looking forward to packing his golf gear into the 4x4 Forester which has been sponsored by Shukers Subaru.

“I have never driven a Subaru before, though I have heard a lot about them through their racing capability,” said Dan.

“I shall look forward to driving my new Forester and I am grateful to Shukers Subaru for continuing to sponsor me,” he added.

Shukers of Ludlow have previously supplied Dan with three Freelanders over the last 18 months. This is his first Subaru following Shukers acquiring the franchise earlier this year.

“All my Freelanders have captured attention both at Ludlow Golf Club and the other courses where I have played,” said Dan. “I am sure the Forester will be no different as I begin my next series of pro-am tournaments.”

These start with a popular three day Midlands PGA event at the South Staffordshire Golf club from June 8-10 which is followed by several more pro-am tournaments including a Midlands open at Birstall Golf Club.

“The benefit to me of a sponsored car is trouble-free motoring,” said Dan. “I am privileged to drive around in a quality vehicle which is a great asset when attending these tournaments,” he added.

The Shukers Subaru sponsored Forester is a 2 litre diesel Nav Plus – though sales manager Nick Apperley is confident Dan won’t get lost on his way to a perfect round.
